Lauren Holyoake is a psychology student, artist, poet and musician. She studied art through out high-school and achieved excellent results, including a dux award. Lauren hopes to integrate her love of art and counselling by using painting as a tool for emotional healing.

Lauren paints using acrylics on canvas and her style ranges from contemporary to abstract. She has a love for colour, patterning and beautiful things. Her artist influences include Klimt, Van Gogh and Munch.

Lauren believes that art is an expression of your soul and all that you are. She loves to paint life around her and takes joy in capturing beautiful moments on canvas. Lauren hopes that her paintings may inspire and strengthen those around her, while reminding them of the quiet beauty that can be found in everyday life.
